Out with the old... The Rond-Point's new living room

Our Chalet-Hotel Rond Point has always been a favourite with our guests. It's well-equipped, comfortable, extremely well-located and is always full of great Stanford staff cooking great meals and taking care of you. Up until mid-2015 however, the reception area had managed to retain some of the haphazard charm of the higglety-pigglety French hotel that it once was.

Finally, over the course of two inter-season maintenance periods between Autumn 2015 and Summer 2016, we have now completed our ongoing project to completely renovate the living room and bar. For those of you that have known the Rond Point over the years, you will see from our lovely new photos that it's nearly unrecognisable.

Our bar is now out of the way of the main seating area, instead acting as an elegant partition between the chalet kitchen and the rest of the room. This leaves much more space for our new, comfy sofas and opens up the area around the fireplace for just the type of cosy seats you need to sink into after a long day of skiing.

Throw in a full paint job, new cream carpets, a fluffy rug and a handy tea and coffee station and you end up with what is now one of our favourite rooms in resort. What do you think?!

It's not just the Rond Point that's had stunning new photos taken though. Take a look at these offerings, including some from our superior Chalet Les Clochettes and our new self-catered apartment in the centre of Megève, the Appartement Centrale.

We're booking up quickly but still have some availability for New Year and Christmas, including our superior Chalet Les Clochettes, as well as later in the season, so move fast before it's all gone.
